Results (SS windows)

There may be some differences between these results and those reported by Mike: I am using ICOOL version 3.20 which includes the material SS (stainless steel). My previous results were got using Ti for the HP windows and ICOOL v317.

Issues needed investigation

  1. Repeat with new Pion file; need a file with more pions, rigth proton energy and target geometry
  2. HG pressure, (value used P=34 atm)
  3. Thickness of LiH, (value used D=0.75 cm)
  4. Material & thickness of HP window, (values used SS and D= 1 cm (upstream) and 0.5 cm (downstream) )
  5. Matching at the position of upstream HP window
  6. Number of additional HP windows needed; matching
