Results (SS windows)
There may be some differences between these results and those reported by Mike:
I am using ICOOL version 3.20 which includes the material SS (stainless steel).
My previous results were got using Ti for the HP windows and ICOOL v317.
Issues needed investigation
- Repeat with new Pion file; need a file with more pions, rigth proton energy and target geometry
- HG pressure, (value used P=34 atm)
- Thickness of LiH, (value used D=0.75 cm)
- Material & thickness of HP window, (values used SS and D= 1 cm (upstream) and 0.5 cm (downstream) )
- Matching at the position of upstream HP window
- Number of additional HP windows needed; matching
